On a wintry Christmas evening at a Norwegian farm, the tension of old feelings and unspoken words brings together Martha, her husband Paul, and her former lover Brede. Beneath the clamor of the festive gathering, jealousy, hurt, and the pain of failing to understand one another come to light. Snow and moonlight frame the characters’ dangerous game, while a lost glove becomes a silent witness to the past. A chance incident changes the course of their lives.
