In the allegory "Lost Justice", a nobleman and a rich man search for the missing Justice using force and gold, respectively. However, it is only the Wretched Man who, by smashing his flask filled with the tears of sorrow, gives birth to a giant named "Protest". Justice appears but states she will only return once Protest has gathered all suffering and grown as mighty as the ocean.
