Lal Hamaz

Sero Khanzadyan was born in 1915 in Goris. After graduating from pedagogical college, he worked at Tatev secondary school as a teacher of Armenian language and literature. Before that he taught at special school of police. Then he moved to Khnatsakh and taught at the school there. Khanzadyan’s first story titled “Dry desert” was published in 1934 in “Red Zangezour” newspaper of Goris. Khanzadyan became popular owing to “The soil” novel (1954-1955). Then the following compositions devoted children were published – “Lal Hamaz” (1955).
