The Castle
“The Castle” is a 1922 novel by German-speaking writer Franz Kafka. In novel a protagonist known only as K. arrives in a village and struggles to gain access to the mysterious authorities who govern it from a castle. The essence of the novel is the deep contrast between the individual and society.
