The novel "The Land of Nairi" is the work of the great Armenian writer Yeghishe Charents. Charents wrote the novel in 1921-1924. The novel is a description of the historical and political situation in Armenia during the First World War. In the novel Charents concentrates on the city of Kars, tells about the love of freedom and the further severe defeat of the Nairians living there.
