“The Son of the Wolf” is one of the works of Jack London. In 1897, like many others seized by the “gold rush”, the aspiring writer also went to Alaska. He did not succeed in becoming wealthy there, but instead gathered rich material for his writing, and from 1899 he began publishing short stories, which were later included in “The Son of the Wolf” and other collections.
