Grqaser NGO is dedicated to preserving Armenian literary heritage worldwide through the means of digitized and audio books.
Since 2015, we have been engaged in the creation of a free online library comprising Armenian-language audiobooks and digital books.
For various reasons, many of our compatriots abroad encounter difficulties in reading and writing in Armenian, yet they are often able to comprehend spoken language with ease. As such, our audiobooks serve as a vital tool for the preservation of the Armenian spoken language.
Our audiobooks are ideal for use during travel, work, leisure, at the gym, and, notably, for individuals with visual impairments, offering the most accessible means of acquiring information.
Our primary objective is to make as many Armenian-language digitized and audio books available as possible to our compatriots, both in Armenia and the Diaspora.
We firmly believe that books are indispensable instruments for the preservation of language, the development of individuals, and the formation of their worldview.
Our free online library already houses a vast collection of audio and digitized books, which users can listen to or download in various formats. Additionally, it is possible to request the recording or digitization of any book.
Grqaser maintains continuous communication with its users, and our initiative is progressing day by day, achieving new successes, as evidenced by the continuous growth in the number of users from around the world.

Transforming Ideas into Reality
Our first initiative, launched in 2015, was the audiobook recording project, which continues to thrive today.
This unique project encourages children to select foreign-language cartoons, translate them, and record the corresponding scenes.
Driven by the demand for high-quality digital books, we undertook the digitization of Armenian-language literature, which later played a significant role in the work of AI (Artificial Intelligence) with Armenian texts.
In collaboration with the “CAST” organization, “Grqaser” has helped AI acquire several Armenian dialects and Classical Armenian, with their development being ongoing.
“Grqaser” is developing a project that involves creating audio recordings that describe the streets of the city. These recordings are integrated with GPS systems.
This project invites well-known public figures to read books aloud, raising awareness about the importance of literature. By involving celebrities, we aim to inspire a love for literature.
Our Book Discussions initiative brings together readers to engage in conversations about various literary works. This project fosters a vibrant community of readers, encouraging the exchange of ideas and promoting a culture of reading and critical thinking.
Armenia has long been home to various ethnic groups, each with its own oral and written cultures. We consider it our goal to preserve cultural heritage of these communities.
