Reader: Hayk Petrosyan (212)

Category: Tale (427)

Age Recommendation: 16+

If a song contains curse words, then it was born out of the pain of longing. Mito does not claim this, nor does he try to impose his truth on anyone, yet his song inevitably draws attention. Everyone knows that Mito is an exile, and he has brought with him, along with a single shirt, his barber’s tools. Surely, he has also brought heavy memories, but these are exclusively Mito’s own, which he never shares with anyone. Yet in barbering, he sees BREAD. According to him, bread is life, and this is the condensed life philosophy of someone who has lived through a silent blockade.
He even mentioned this to the border officer checking them, and the officer nodded in approval, unaware that standing before him was not merely a barber, but a former warrior.
