Vardan Aygektsi was a medieval Armenian theologian, writer, fable, preacher, public figure and priest. He wrote 22 speeches in Aigek monastery, 5 educational books, and compiled the “Root of Faith” collection. Vardan Aygektsi, with his teachings and sermons, was struggling against witchcraft, theft, extortion, drunkenness, gluttony, drunkenness, other human defects, preaching love and solidarity.
