The collector left the following information about the teller: “Narrated on August 3, 1915, in the village of Odzun, by the same villager Martiros Kharazyan, a 35-year-old, somewhat literate villager who practices agriculture and stonemasonry". Some corrections have been made on the original tale text in red ink, presumably by the folklorist. These corrections have been taken into account when preparing the final version.
