In the early 1990s, an Armenian village in Artsakh faces forced displacement by Soviet troops and the Azerbaijani OMON. A Bulgarian television journalist, alongside Jivan and Davit’s volunteer unit, witnesses the villagers’ fear, their exodus, and an unequal resistance. At the heart of the story are responsibility for another people’s suffering, the cost of courage, and the power of human solidarity amid war.
