The action unfolds in Japan, from the world of samurai and ancient rituals to the urban life of modern times. Across ten dreams, images of death and waiting, honor and faith, memory and desire intertwine. In one vision, a man promises to wait a hundred years for the return of the woman he loves; in others, the characters find themselves amid trials, unease, and inexplicable events. The boundaries between reality and imagination blur, and each dream reveals a new facet of the human inner world—its fears, hopes, and self-deception.
