New e-book: The Sunrise, Manuk Mnatsakanyan

The story takes place in a small Turkish town several decades after the tragic events of the early twentieth century. The quiet life of the respected elder Bayram Ali is disturbed when his young great-granddaughter Shevket begins to see mysterious visions connected to the town’s past. Against the backdrop of memories from a period of mass violence, the lives of Bayram Ali, Fatima, and Shevket become intertwined with long-buried events that refuse to disappear.
