“The Adventure of the Abbey Grange” is a short story by Arthur Conan Doyle, written in 1904. Holmes wakes Watson early in the morning because they must hurry to the scene of a murder at Abbey Grange in Chislehurst. Sir Eustace Brackenstall has been killed, apparently by burglars. Inspector Stanley Hopkins believes the crime was committed by the notorious Randall gang, consisting of a father and his two sons.
